Bookaboo CIS is a high-end, mixed-media British television format for preschool children. It was created, produced, and co-directed by Lucy Goodman of Happy Films, and features celebrities, puppets, books, songs, CGI, and 2D animation.

The 12 x 12-minute series is the first international format commissioned by StoryTime.

Designed to encourage a love of sharing books, the show features a world-famous rock puppy, Bookaboo, who tours the globe with his band playing to adoring fans. But there’s just one hitch: he can’t possibly play without a story a day! Luckily, a series of celebrity guests drop backstage to share their favourite picture books and coax Bookaboo back to his drums.

The original UK-produced show has garnered five Daytime Emmy nominations, two BAFTA awards, and an international Prix Jeunesse, among other awards. It has featured international celebrities including Michael Sheen, Paula Abdul, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Meatloaf, Antonio Brown, and Mel C.
